About Founder
Dr. Andy Lin, founder of Lingogo, is an acclaimed violinist, violist, and erhu (Chinese violin) virtuoso, celebrated for his mastery of both Western and Eastern musical traditions. Praised by The Strad for his “sensitive work” on the viola and hailed by The New York Times as a “virtuoso on the erhu,” he has captivated audiences worldwide. A graduate of The Juilliard School and SUNY Stony Brook, both on full scholarships, Dr. Lin is also the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of the New Asia Chamber Music Society, dedicated to bridging Eastern and Western music. Through his artistry and leadership, he continues to inspire and innovate across the global music scene.
